This will hardly be the first time I've had a writing journal. I don't know how much will actually get posted there, but I can at least say that I'm resolving to try and be more forthcoming with what I write. In line with that, I should probably mention daliquinn also contains a good many things (and needs a different layout, what was I thinking with that one (edit; that's better)). daliquinn journal is for things pertaining to Daliquinn I am sure that needed clarifying.

The vast vast majority of what I write will be original fiction. This is my fair warning to you all, ahhh. If I ever do write anything fandom-based I will surely say so, because it will definitely be an occasion rare. But for now there is one post and doubtless it is the only thing you will see there for a while, ahhh. We shall see!

But mm, for all I am sounding out all negative, haha, I have pretty warm feelings about this. Would like to post more, would like to overcome this weakness in myself. Think it's the right direction with regards to improving both personal confidence and personal writing ability. I mean, that goes without saying, doesn't it? How can I improve either of those areas if I don't ever take these steps?

(On that note, thank you ever and always to shinsengumi, invaluable in both endeavours.)

Not much else to say at the moment! Just heading in to a busy few weeks of work, not much looking forward to that but am looking forward to the money at the end of it. Spartacus: Vengeance ended last week and has left me rather bereft, but no one is surprised by this. Am considering downloading something completely different to occupy some time now. Would rewatching Buffy the Vampire Slayer be too awkwardly nostalgic? It's been curiously on my mind lately...

Buffy the Vampire Slayer, yet another thing I have not watched. I feel like I must have juuuuust been too young for it when it was airing; I've a few older friends who watch it, but I don't remember it ever being in my small group... (Granted, my idiot young cousin (who failed high school but insists on trying to be better than me?) has watched it, but only all on DVD and suchlike.)

re: Buffy! I would be inclined to say that you maybe haven't missed much? I used to have two different seasons as video box sets, and it was one of few things mother, brother and myself would all watch together - in later years, before I started university, this became House. I think that, for those reasons, I carry a certain fondness for them both? In that sense that I'm happy to have them around, but I'm not particularly invested or inclined to recommend. (I suppose this is the same reason I like the generally somewhat reviled fourth season of BtVS, happened to own that one.)
