• Today, I am testing DreamWidth crossposting! What will happen?!?!?
I don't... I honestly can't say whether I'm planning to switch over or not. For the extended time being, it's really a 'no', because I have an awful lot of paid time left on gargantsurprise. It's fine, though, because if crossposting works then it's all for the good, isn't it. NO ONE WILL BE DENIED. ♥
• I dyed my hair today. Or rather, I went to my mum's and she did it for me. It was to get the red out, because... well, of a few reasons, really. One reason, though, is that I have my work training on Thursday. Training to clean caravans, hahaha. BECAUSE IT'S GOING TO BE QUITE COMPLEX, I AM SURE. But regardless, for this job and any better I'm able to attain, I'm not going to be able to wear a hat! sob forever. And I honestly don't have the inclination to dye my hair every three or four weeks, and so we are back to default. This paragraph seems a bit all over the place.
That training, incidentally, will have me getting up at... probably about 5.30am. It'll take me a few hours, through public transport, to reach my workplace, and then from there we're driving to the actual training destination. It's going to be a long and frustratingly dull day, I think. Unfortunately, most everyone in my family (and in particular, my dad) has been treating me like pond scum ever since I became employed, and it's really killing any drive I have to even bother.
To clarify, of course I will bother. Just, gah. LET'S TALK ABOUT SOMETHING ELSE.
• I have decided that I am going to download House. Or at least the first two seasons. I used to watch it with my Mum, back when it was first being broadcast in the UK, and we used to really enjoy it. Now, lately, when I go to visit her, we catch whatever episode FiveUSA happens to be showing that afternoon. It's been delightfully nostalgic, and it really is quite a good show. SO, that is my plan.
Whether I'll download past that, into material I haven't previously seen? I'll decide when I get to it, methinks. Who knows how quickly I'll even get around to watching this stuff, after all. MY EXCITING WORLD.

Nina would write self-insert fanfiction about herself and Euphemia. SELF-INSERT RPS, YES. In fact, this could be stated as canon fact and fandom would not bat an eyelid. She would keep it in a secret folder on her computer, hidden somewhere among all her calculations, and she would never quite be able to bring herself to delete it. (She would eventually stop going back to read it, though. I am trying not to mention any spoilers here lalala, but she wouldn't rely on it as an emotional crutch forever.)
Thane is one of the original characters on this list. He would probably read about three sentences before tossing the whole thing aside with utter disinterest. That applies to just about anything written ever though, so Nina shouldn't take it too personally.
→ Dora Folk walks in on Nanami Kiryuu and Janine Butcher kissing. Exactly how awkward is it?
Oh my god. (AND YES, JANINE BUTCHER FROM EASTENDERS, NO SHAME WILL BE FOUND HERE.)
Anyway, the only person who would find it very awkward would be Nanami. Indeed, I'm pretty sure 'Nanami' and 'kissing' would be awkward enough by itself, she has an awkward way about these things. I don't imagine Dora would care much beyond perhaps making some pithy remark. Janine, who would be highly unlikely to kiss a schoolgirl anyway (unless with some sinister ulterior motive), would quickly get over it. Though possibly want to get some kind of mild revenge on Dora, depending on that pithy remark.
→ Rossiu Adai, Edric Kartheon, Jin Kazama and Cesarino Ludvig live in a house together. Do they get along? Do fights break out? Do any awkward love triangles develop?
This household is two parts sexually repressed, two parts OC, three parts stern, and one part extremely bored by the company. They would, I think, all be able to get along, but that doesn't mean they're particularly compatible. Cesarino would strongly dislike having to share space because he is extremely unaccustomed to it (except on his own terms), and Rossiu would dislike sharing space because he would have a set way of organising/doing things and any break from that would irritate him to no end.
No one would be home often. Rossiu would be working whenever feasible, Edric's work would take her away for days or weeks at a time, and Cesarino... well, working and socialising sort of cross over for him, he'd be doing both. Jin uhhh is a complicated case because I'm pretty sure he doesn't stay in one place for extended periods anyway, so. we'll just brush over that detail.
I do not think anyone in this house is going to be falling in love. Cesarino would probably sleep with.... any of them if the occasion arose, cough, but he wouldn't really pursue the possibility because they're just not his kind of people.
→ You open your door to find Zelos Wilder standing there. What is your reaction?
"ffffffff" is probably my first reaction. Honestly, I don't even know. THIS QUESTION HAS MANY LAYERS. I suppose I would have to invite him in, though, for starters. :O
→ Both Rutee Katrea/Van Grants and Rutee Katrea/Sui are hugely popular pairings. What points do both sides make in the inevitable enormous 'shipwars?
Rutee/Van. I don't think these two are very compatible! But let's see... I think Rutee/Sui might have to win by default. Rutee and Van look good together, maybe? Except I don't even think that, but. Rutee and Sui would argue hilariously, but maybe Rutee would recruit her? In fact yes that is precisely what would happen, Sui would follow Rutee around with the promise of impending danger. And they would bicker terribly, but probably ultimately get along quite well.
→ Would you rather be stuck in a lift with Thilan Rumsey or Roger S. Huxley?
Roger is a tiny obnoxious raccoon child. Thilan is a Warcraft OC and uhhh a bit of a child too, hahah. That being said, Roger would seriously be terrible company in a confined space. He would either be HIDEOUSLY OBNOXIOUS about the whole ordeal, or else be a bit agitated and fretful and then go nuts if you pointed it out to him. I don't particularly feel like trapping kids in lifts, so I suppose Thilan it is.
I feel like I've had a question like this concerning Thilan before. Then, I said he'd panic. Now though, I feel like he might be quite mellow. I wonder if that's because I'm the company this time (not Zelos), or whether that's something in him that's changed. Maybe some combination of both.
→ Rutee Katrea and Roger S. Huxley adopt a kid together. describe their parenting skills?
Is that legal?
Rutee is a canon mother! Unfortunately, I've never played her sequel game, so I could fail this question hideously and have no idea. However, I do know canonically that she's really good with kids, and puts a lot of herself into making them happy. I think she'd be a great mother, that real perfect blend of caring and stern and fun-loving. She'd be the, uh, 'dominant parent' if such a thing exists? I imagine she runs the household out of her and Stahn, anyway.
BUT THIS IS HER AND ROGER. Roger is, what, twelve or something? He would, god, spend all his time trying to teach the child what it means to be ~A REAL MAN~, and driving Rutee up the wall. He's just the extra child here, that's all there is to it.
