Yuletide Letter
Hello writer! This is my first time participating in Yuletide and I'm a little bit nervous, so rather than too much preamble I'm just going to leap right into fandoms and prompts! Thank you in advance for your consideration, and I hope something in here works for you! If not, though, please feel free to write whatever speaks to your heart!!
Fandom: Love Live! Sunshine!!
Characters: All nominated!
Thoughts: This has been such a cute show, and I'd honestly be happy with just about anything just focused on these cute girls supporting each other and having fun together. Trying to be more specific is genuinely tricky here! Please don't feel limited in any way, all of Aquors are welcome here. I would love any ship fics that focus on characters we haven't seen interact too much before now, although Rubymaru is possible the sweetest thing I've ever been so fond of and I definitely be happy to see anything exploring their relationship!
Prompts: - Yohane has a lapse in confidence, and Mari comes to the rescue. I love how dramatic these two are, and seeing them interact more would just be such a delight. Maybe they could go on a shopping trip, or share their hobbies? Mari using her knowledge of metal music to help the fallen angel Yohane find her dark centre again? This can be friendship fic or romantic!
- Rubymaru! Just cuteness, maybe something based on their picnic UR cards together? I really love how supportive these two are of one another, and the way they take care of each other as well.
- Fantasy AU! Which is so vague, but honestly, just any sort of fantastical AU. Yohane seems to lend herself well to this, but I'd love to see how any of the Aquors girls translate into a traditional fantasy-type setting. I'd preferably want this to stay fairly light-hearted, nothing too serious; any sort of princess/commoner premise is always adorable to see.
Fandom: Teppuu
Characters: All nominated!
Thoughts: Natsuo is my favourite character in Teppuu, and I'll be happy with anything that includes her! That doesn't necessarily mean it has to be from her point of view, or even be focused on her at all, but I'd be a bit sad if she wasn't present at all. That being said, there is no cast member I dislike, so please, follow you heart!
Prompts: - Something focused on the difference between Natsuo's former friendship with Sanae and her current friendship with Kei. Something that looks at both the positive and negatives of both relationships would be really great, especially through the (not always very self-aware) lens of Natsuo.
- Sanae interacting with someone other than Natsuo! Does she end up talking to Yuzuko or Ringi? Or perhaps getting to know Kei independently of Natsuo? I'd just love to see Sanae outside of her usual circle! This can be light-hearted fic, but it doesn't have to be—go where the inspiration takes you!
- Post-canon! You can honestly take this in any direction you'd like, I'd just be really interested to see any little snippet of what the future might have in store for any of these characters.

Characters: Dora Folk
Thoughts: So the chances of actually getting matched on this seem very slim indeed, considering how specific I'm being. I love Immortal Rain and I enjoy every character, but if there's one person I found interesting and never felt like I had enough information about, it's Dora Folk. I want something to remedy that!
Prompts: - Dora backstory! It certainly doesn't have to be a complete backstory, any little snippet would be wonderful! I'm interested in things like how he came to work for Ishmael and Calvaria, how he first learned about angels, or just his relationship to his father and interest (or lack thereof) in being the heir to his father's company. Dora's history is super vague, so you can really go crazy with this. And Dora himself is a real piece of work, so feel free to go as dark as you want. This is one story where I most certainly wouldn't object.
- Alternatively, just events of Immortal Rain told through his point of view! Any moment or scene is fine, honestly! Just give me the Dora fic I crave.
Fandom: Bravely Default
Characters: Agnes Oblige, Edea Lee
Thoughts: I'm really just here for the Agnes/Edea. Other characters are fine as part of the story, especially asterisk bearers, but I'd really love to see anything focused on these two leading ladies. It doesn't have to be romantic, although I would ask that you please avoid Ringabel/Edea.
Prompts: - Agnes and Edea both have a world of responsibility on their shoulders, and both of them handle that responsibility in very different ways. Fic where they turn to each other for advice, supporting each other with their own respective strengths, would be just wonderful. I especially love Agnes as a spiritual pacifist, and Edea's steely core, and the way they can cover for one another's vulnerabilities. This can be set anywhere in the timeline, honestly, although post-Default pre-Second seems like it might make the most sense. But if something else springs to mind, please go for it freely!
- Otherwise, fluff! Just these two spending quality time together, I don't even care what they're doing. I just want them being adorable, is that so much to ask? Perhaps something with Edea showing Agnes how to have fun in the snow—or maybe Agnes talking to Edea about her childhood, and what it meant to her? Just so long as it's cute, I don't mind!

Characters: Edgar, Sabin, Celes, Locke
Thoughts: Final Fantasy VI has so many great themes and characters, and I'm really excited for anything set in this world! That being said, I do quite like looking at the sort of sinister underbelly of the game, so darker fic is welcome here. All cast members are welcome as supporting characters! Similarly, whatever you write doesn't have to include all four of the nominated characters – look at the prompts and see what seems best for you!
Prompts: - Figarocest. This can be pre-game or post-game. I'd really love something exploring the relationship between these two. I'll say that incest is optional, and I definitely wouldn't want anyone to write anything uncomfortable, but I do enjoy the idea of these two as a ship so feel free to explore that. I especially enjoy anything where both brothers feel that they have to be the protective guardian of the other—this can be done with benevolence or with some bitterness, but always with love.
(Bonus prompt! If you happen to be a Setzer fan and enjoy Setzer/Edgar or even Setzer/Sabin, or just generally want to throw him in here somewhere, I'm definitely not going to say no! I love all three of these characters, and any combination thereof!)

I'd love to see something focused on them in a romantic sense, but with the specific caveat that neither of them is really ready to be in a relationship but they sort of stumble into one anyway. Basically I really do ship this, but only when it's treated as a bit messed up. I don't mind if it's ultimately a healing relationship for both of them, I just want the ugly parts left in too.
Fandom: Tales of Graces
Characters: Malik, Hubert, Cheria
Thoughts: This game is the cutest, and I'm so excited for any fic! Malik and Hubert have my favourite relationship and Hubert is my favourite character, but Cheria is my second favourite and anything focused on her would be delightful. You do not have to include all the nominated characters if it doesn't work for your story idea! Feel free to include other cast members where necessary, but I'd prefer non-romantic/asexual Pascal.
Prompts: - Pre-game Hubert fic, focused on his life in Strahta. How does he adapt to his new family? When did he become aware of his reputation as a child who never smiled, and how did he feel about that? Did he ever let himself dream of returning to Lhant one day, and when did those dreams become bitter? Feel free to include relevant NPCs, of course! This can be open-ended and miserable, or you can bring it up to the present day if you want to end on a note of Hubert's brighter future. Whatever works!
- MALIK/HUBERT. This is my Graces OTP and it doesn't get much representation, so I'd simply adore to see just about anything focused on these two. I'll happily accept platonic/friendship fic if that suits you better, but if you want to take things in a romantic direction it will definitely find its audience with me. Post-canon political negotiations are always a plotty place to start, but something set during the events of the game would be fine as well. I'd also enjoy something with them talking on the eve of the final battle (main arc), or even just silly fluff of them trying to complete the party's shopping list or collect ingredients for Cheria or anything similar. I don't mind! When it comes to these two, I am so very, very easy.
- Cheria fic! This can be pre-canon and focused on her life and feelings in the years before she sees Asbel again, or it can be something post-canon and looking at her efforts as a relief working or even as the Lady of Lhant. Asbel/Cheria is ENTIRELY optional, I have no strong feelings on it either way — if you would rather cut it but have Cheria in Lhant anyway, that doesn't bother me. Similarly, if you want them happily married, I really don't mind at all — just so long as Cheria herself remains the focus.
Thank you for your time and efforts, and no matter what happens, please just have fun and enjoy writing something! As far as I'm concerned this challenge is ultimately about having fun, so never lose sight of that!!
