Ottawa is lovely. Bitterly cold in the winters, but lovely. I hope you like living there, or wherever you end up!

Alberta is basically the Texas/Florida of Canada. Among other things, they don't believe in public health mandates or wearing masks. They also have the highest percentage of Conservative-leaning voters, which - well, I won't break out the Nigel Farage comparisons quite yet. In general, just stay away from the middle of the country, that's my rule.
